Hales Corners — Thomas Chantry, a pastor at Christ Reformed Church in Hales Corners [Wisconsin] charged with child molestation linked to a church in [Prescott] Arizona, was arrested there following a Dec. 20 court hearing.

Chantry is currently behind held without bail related to child molestation charges.  He is scheduled to be tried by a jury in Arizona on March 27.

Although he was arrested in Wisconsin July 25, Chantry was released Aug. 10 after posting a $100,000 cash bail.

The stipulations regarding the pastor’s release were to be determined at a Nov. 26 hearing in Arizona, but the judge assigned to the case had to recuse herself, forcing the hearing to move to a later date [Dec 20] with a different judge.  Visiting Judge Bradley Astrowsky is now assigned to the case.

Chantry has been accused of five counts of child molestation and two counts of aggravated assault related to his time working as a pastor at Miller Valley Baptist Church in Prescott, Arizona.
